Senior Developer in Test

Responsibilities
Ø  Develop detailed automated tests from test plans, engineering discussions and functional specifications.
Ø  Create, maintain and extend the test infrastructure
Ø  Test large configurations that are similar to customer deployments
Ø  Troubleshoot test case and test harness infrastructure failures
Ø  Effectively communicate and collaborate with the QA team in designing, implementing and maintaining the test cases and automated scripts
Ø  Analyze test run results and report bugs
Ø  Actively participating in the software verification planning and test case design

Skills and Experience:
Ø  Education: Bachelors (technical) or equivalent experience
Ø  3+ years as a QA professional in testing and automation development
Ø  Ability to translate software system architectures into an integrated approach to software testing including integration, functional, system test, performance , load, stress, scalability, and etc.
Ø  Experience as developer/programmer in a software engineering environment is desirable
Ø  Experience in Linux administration, knowledge about Ruby on rails, Java, Web services, JavaScript, Shell, or Globalization is desirable
Ø  Knowledge of open source tools, like Selenium, is desirable Knowledge of agile development methodology, continuous integration.
Ø  QA experience in agile development environment is a plus Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
Ø  Work well with peers, project personnel and stakeholders within and outside the organization
Ø  Willingness to take on challenges and learn new technologies
