请教大家，为什么我用DEV-C++写函数那章时，写用书上的例子时通过不了，不知为什么

程序代码：

int main()
{
      int i=2,p;
    
      p=f(i,++i);
      printf(" %d ",p);
    
      }
      int f(int a,int b)
      {
          int c;
          if(a>b) c=1;
          else if (a==b)c=0;
          else c=-1;
          return(c);
          }

在这句子出错，“p=f(i,++i);”
报6 D:\c语言\

cpp一定要有函数显式声明，在#include行下加一句 int f(int, int);就可以了。显式声明函数是很好的习惯，有利于代码的阅读。

新手，自己学总是碰到这里那里的问题，，有时不知去问谁，还好有这个论坛。

在写第一个例字也出现这样的问题，但不知怎么申明，

在printstar出错了，
