[bo]JOB DESCRIPTION – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [/bo]
The qualified individual will be part of a team developing Equity (non-fixed income) information products. The team is responsible for enabling the core infrastructure for Equity reference, pricing and Corporate actions data, used by internal and external Company content clients worldwide. Successful applicant will be responsible for requirements gathering and analysis, test planning, test case/scripts writing, automation and execution, regression suite development, documentation, production release, and ongoing support and maintenance of system test environment.

[bo]JOB SPECIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE [/bo]
[bo]?Qualification: [/bo]A Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

[bo]?Testing: [/bo]
1.Minimum 3+ years of testing experience.
2.Proven experience in test plan and test cases development.
understanding of test methodologies and techniques (e.g. Test coverage analysis).
4.Solid experience in test execution and defect tracking.
5.Excellent analytical skills.
6.Proficient with defect tracking systems (e.g. Bugzilla, TestDirector)
7.Understanding of project test management fundamentals including: project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, issues management, test instance management.

[bo]?Process:[/bo] be familiar with Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and testing process

[bo]?Automation:[/bo] Excellent understanding of automation concepts. Experience in using testing automation (like QTP, Winrunner, LoadRunner and other test automation tools) tools would be an added advantage.

[bo]?Technical Requirement: [/bo]
1.SQL (ability to write queries, get database row counts)
2.Unix (Sun Solaris) or Linux
3.Financial industry Equity, Derivative, and Indices experience preferred
