Position: Software Developer
Responsibility:
l Make contribution to the end-to-end development of a Build-to-order software tool, expected to cover the developer’s role;
l Be responsible for creating software design specification, doing coding and UNIT/integration testing, creating all related customer documents and process documents, doing code change control conforming to software configuration plan, doing build if necessary, create and maintain Unit testing/Integration test environment.
l Participate in the vision/scope document, software requirement specification review and design review
l Fix bugs reported by tester, deployment engineer and end users, help Project manager to plan patch/block release;
l Provide development effort estimate to Project manager and report development metrics to project manager;
l Be responsible for creating and maintaining UNIT/Integration test cases;
l Provide consult to tester, deployment engineer and end-users;
l May need to work with customer to collect vision/scope documents and capture customer requirements;
Requirements:
l Previous software development/testing experience following formal software development process (CMM/MSF) in multinational company;
l Excellent English, both speaking and writing;
l Excellent interpersonal communication skill and teamwork;
l Dealing with Ambiguity; Positive and constructive;
l Solid experience on object oriented design and analysis; UML experience is a plus;
l Solid experience with 3-tie enterprise application on Microsoft platform and Linux platform;
l Strong Oracle DB development skill and SQL/PLSQL experience. Solid experience on ASP, VB, VBScript, HTML, .net programming and debugging;
l Solid development experience on LINUX, Java, TCP/IP;
l Manufacturing/CFI process knowledge a plus;
Interaction:
l IT L1/L2 support in the factory WW;
l L3 support, tester inside team, project manager WW;
l CFI end customer in the factory WW;
l Other IT teams WW;
