Platform Software Development Engineer

Job Description:

-Responsible for prototyping, specification, design, coding and testing, bug-fixing, maintenance of platform software of a MR-I, CT, Xray scanner.

-Will use the state-of-art in design methods, tools and programming techniques.

-Will be extensively involved with development of windows .NET based software applications on scanner platforms

-Should have familiarity with hardware, will be involved in implementing the interfaces.

Job Requirement:

-Bachelor’s degree of at least, computer science or electronics or electrical engineering

-Experience in medical imaging- preferred

-Strong system understanding, broad multi-disciplinary interest

-Accurate, team player, independent.

-Drive, entrepreneurial behavior, result oriented and quality driven.

-Good Global communication skills.

-Good command of English

-Programming language C++, C# on Microsoft Windows/.NET operating system and associated development environment

-Working experience with configuration management, defect management tools, preferably ClearCase & ClearQuest

-Exposure to one or more software development lifecycle models with engagement preferably from requirements to maintenance phases

-Knowledge of CMM-I and Six Sigma methodologies, specific experience in any of these areas is a bonus
