MTS Software Application Development Engineer
 
You will be part of RTG (Radeon Technologies Group) SW Customer Engineering team developing best possible user experience in computer graphics environment and fixing problems from OEM/ODM customers to ensure the quality of software deliverables on-time to customers.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with global RTG Software teams and Customer Engineering teams to provide support and solution for the enablement of the next generation of APU/GPU products and Windows operating systems to OEM/ODM customers.
• Resolve problems related to SW applications including triaging, debugging and fixing problems from customers. Have a strong emphasis on meeting customer requirements regarding features and schedules.
• Design & Develop Applications related AMD application and provide innovative solutions to the end user to configure these products.
• Design, Develop and maintain unit tests and performance measurement scenarios for the applications.
• Coordinate closely with peers both locally and internationally to ensure timely and effective communication of all assigned work activities.
• Coach and mentor less experienced staffs. Influence others as a technical leader.
 
Requirement:
• BE/Master degree with 3 - 8 years of experience in user application development.
• Expert in C, C++, QT/QML application development. Hands on development experience of 2-4 years.
• Knowledge in Design Patterns and using extensive knowledge in OOPS concepts.
• Understanding of Windows internals.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving skills, and a quick learner.
• Must have experience in working with Global teams, and must be fluent in English for both written and oral communication.
• Experience with Multimedia and Audio/Video processing and streaming is a plus.
• Experience with DirectX or OpenGL development is a plus.
