RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
o    Understand customer needs and business issues to contribute to functional requirements.   
o    Use functional requirements as the basis for research, analysis, project planning.     
o    Lead and participate in software design and architectural discussions.   
o    Provides aid in establishing systems philosophy and design objectives.   
o    Prepares portions of engineering proposals, including complex specifications.   
o    Produce effective object oriented designs and implementations.   
o    Serves as a professional authority in one engineering discipline or specialty area.   
o    Develop and maintain software and unit tests.   
o    Analyzes and resolves failures in test and service, sometimes without recourse to intense theoretical studies and test programs.   
o    Provides continuity of design features.   
o    Participate in the continuous improvement of the development process.   
o    Develop and share knowledge about the software.   
o    May perform other job duties as directed by supervisor.   
        
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Experience:   
o    3 to 5 years of related experience as a senior f Engineer with application and web development.   
o    Highly skilled in C#, C++. Java, HTML, JavaScript skills are considered a plus.   
o    Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.     
o    Excellent time management, decision making, prioritization and organization skills.     
o    Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem solving.   
o    Demonstrates the ability to think through situations outside the norm and develop appropriate solutions, isolating the root cause.   
o    Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Windows operating systems and server platforms.   
o    Ability to establish and manage shifting priorities, multiple tasks and meet deadlines.   
o    Strong oral and written communication skills   
o    Must be able to work well with others as part of a Team   
        
     Preferred Qualifications:     
o    Experience with Microsoft .NET development   
o    Experience with web services   
o    Experience with Security technology   
o    Experience with Agile development(Scrum)   
o    Experience configuring and supporting Windows based computers and networks   
Education/ Licensing/Certification:   
o     A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent or demonstrated skills and/or related experience     
o    Microsoft Certified Professional Developer or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer preferred
