ROLE:    Java developer(s) for Equity Front Office
GRADE:  M16-M18
REPORTS TO:  Equity Front Office Team Leader
LOCATION:  Tianjin, China
TERMS:  Local

SCOPE OF ROLE:  To perform the role of developer on cash equity front office systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
    Development of the trading platform using Java
    Assisting Business Analysts and Software Architects converting business requirements into system solutions
    Produce Technical Design based on BRD and functional specifications
    Helping technology management to establish project scope and define priorities and timeframes
    Assist with System Testing and User Acceptance Testing
    Play an active role in defining and improving the departmental Development and Support processes
    Ensure the quality of the deliverables

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Technical Skills
    Over 3 years of development in financial market industry with experience of developing FO Equities Sales and Trading systems
    Strong knowledge in Java (Multi-threading, deployment), at least 5 years of OOP and 3 years of Java
    Strong knowledge in RDBMS
    Mastering complex environment and complex architecture
    Exposure to source code control software (e.g. Clearcase, subversion)
    Exposure to Java Frameworks i.e. Spring; Hibernate
    Excellent communication skills
    Possess strong analysis and problem solving skills
    Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management
    Self-motivated and excellent team player
