宁可小写程序,多翻译E文,Choosing the right Graphics API
Hi, I've heard of a lot of different graphics APIs being shot out here and there. But no one really broke down which one is the best and why it is.
嗨,我听过很多不同图形应用接口用在不同地方.但是没有真正知道它们好与不好
I hear that SFML is faster than SDL etc etc..
我听过SFML(是一个多媒体的C++库,适合于游戏开发以及自定义组件,对于通用GUI元素并不方便;
)比SDL(是一个跨平台的,不收费的开源软件。该软件应用C语言开发,对外提供多种平台上图像、声音和其它输入装备的简单接口。)快,等等
I guess I want to know basically is three things
我想三样东西是基本知道
Which one is the easiest to learn
那个最易容学习
&&
Which one, with the goal of mastering, can be used to render the best graphics.
那个绘制图形最好
&&
When done mastering, which one will be most extensively used with a broader scope of objectives and abilities(like using some form of add on like openGL or something)
掌握去做的时候,那一个是最广泛的应用范围更广泛的目标和能力(用其它添加形式就像openGl和其它)
If you feel like you need to go into verbose explanation, then please feel free. I feel answers that I don't know any better to ask will get answered quicker.

P.S. I'm simply only referring to 2D graphics API, because I heard that you should really get the gist of the 2D before moving onto the 3D graphics like

 As far as which one is better... SFML probably comes out ahead of the rest as a more modern OO and hardware accelerated API that also has several features that the other APIs don't AND I find it easier to use.

Yes, definitely by graphics...and versatility. Will they both have the same graphics... just matters on the speed functionality etc etc?
