Job Title: SharePoint Specilist
Job Requirements:  

·Be familiar with SharePoint and its framework, including completing system development independently

·Experience with Implementing SharePoint 2003 or 2007 with one or more customers

·Experience with SharePoint product for 2-3 years

·Experience with performing an architectural review

·Good understanding of content management and collaboration concepts and best practices

·Automating the integration of multiple SharePoint Repositories (Hint: Sharing Report and Reuse Repository)

·Use of SharePoint Designer to configure sites (SharePoint Collection Administrator)

·Ability to configure a SharePoint site from scratch, to meet the needs of a business area

·Ability to assist the users in designing their SharePoint sites based on the requirements they identify

·Ability to configure SharePoint columns, create appropriate views, design libraries and lists that meet the needs of the users

·Ability to understand the different roles for site users and design a solution that meets the needs of site readers whilst enabling contributors to minimize the work requirements

·Ability to answer questions on how to use SharePoint to provide functionality on their sites

·Ability to maintain metadata across multiple site collections using the EDS Taxonomy tool (not something an external resource will have but this is one of the key jobs as part of the role)

·Ability to understand the integration of metadata and advanced search

·Good communication skill is required, a good team player
