Principal Engineer
We are developing the next generation of information access methods.  We are enabling applications to store and retrieve critical content without the need for a local storage

device. Instead applications will work with the storage cloud.
To do this we are developing advanced access methods based on emerging standards like SNIA's XAM object access method and REST APIs for web application developers.
Our group is small but nimble. Each of us coordinates with the other yet largely works independently.  In a very short time we have made substantial progress with the

fundamentals and now we need to take our projects to the next stage. This position may offer the opportunity to coordinate engineering with off-shore development.
We are looking for a independent worker capable of contributing significant designs and coding. Fluency with C++ & Java on Windows and Linux are mandatory. Experience with REST

APIs is desirable.  Development of web applications on both client and server-side a definite plus.  We are also developing authentication and authorization protocols (e.g.,

OpenID, Oauth) and encryption (symmetric and perhaps asymmetric).

Senior Engineer
We are developing the next generation of information access methods.  We are enabling applications to store and retrieve critical content without the need for a local storage

device. Instead applications will work with the storage cloud.
We need engineers to develop projects in C++, JAVA, using REST APIs as well as other APIs like SNIA's XAM API.  As our projects advance, proof of concept code will need to be

hardened, and potentially reimplemented. We also need substantial performance and availability analysis.
Our team works very much as peers:  Everyone is a significant contributor and innovator.  We have aggressive goals to demonstrate that our methods can deliver substantial

improvements in the way applications access data.  There are lots of opportunities to take your career to the next step in this position if you can work hard and largely

indpendently.
