想对数据库中字段相同的记录进行累加，求和，并输出到页面。应该如何写？

想对2004-5-9的数据求和，

不好意思，可不可以把具体的格式告诉我，我不会用！！

方法很多，我想到的都是笨方法，可以先把数据读出来存到数组里面，ASP里的数组我不会用（VB），c我比较熟悉，或者就这样，读数据出来，然后进行验证，哪些数据相同，相同的就进行加法。
