小弟再问一下:
a.CommandText = "select count(*) from User where ID='" & TextBox1.Text & "'and PassWord ='" & TextBox2.Text & "'"

中的count(*) 代表社么意思呀

他这条语句是求的符合条件的数据有多少条..
count()就是求总数

如何我把类型设置成其他的 如: text int 等这的类型

在vb 中应该什么接受返回的数据

count() 返回的都是一个数据型的..和字段类型无关

如果返回的值既有int，又有varchar类型的应该怎么办～～如何接收～

请不要直接用User,Name,ID,Password,UserID,userName这些单词作为表名或字段名.可以在后面加上"#"以区别.如:user#,Name#.
