This role is for a Project Manager with leadership, project management and excellent English speaking skills. It involves managing a software engineering project for development and support of a set of components that are part of a large product. This role involves a lot of communication, both internally and externally with Engineering plants in Australia and India. The product is a Unisys owned product that provides model driven development and code generation to a variety of platforms. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Systems Development is a great advantage.

Responsibilities of this role include:
- Project Management of the AB Suite Developer components that are developed/supported by the team in Shanghai
- Responsible for the project planning, tracking and control functions for the project
- Primary contact point with the Australian and Indian teams on any project meetings/discussions/issues
- Work closely with the managers and team leads to plan and provide timely updates
- Work with the Product Information (India) and Test teams (India and China)
Skills and experience include:
Mandatory skills:
- 6 years work experience in software development field, including project management experience and working with oversea teams
- Experience in project management, creating schedules, managing resources, tracking tasks, managing risks, etc
- Experience in managing a medium to large project through a complete software development and support project cycle
- Excellent English skills especially oral English, ability to schedule and host conference calls with overseas teams.
- Good leadership skills, positive attitude, open minded, likes to interact with people, works well with others
- Technically strong in MicroSoft Project or other project management tools
Beneficial skills:
- Project Management Office experience
- Client facing experience, good communication and presentation skills. Can independently interact with clients
- Problem solving skills
- Likes challenging assignments
