Position Summary:

Adobe China R&D’s Enterprise software group is looking for a talented and highly motivated QE Manager to lead the LiveCycle-Core QE team.  As a hands-on manager, this leader needs to guide a team of 15 quality engineers toward operational excellence and optimization of resources.  The current team has processes in place and executes well on project deliverables.  This manager needs to be an experienced people manager who can develop the team for growth, not only in size, but also in growth of individual team members. Some areas of focus will be automation, expansion on breadth of team’s technical knowledge, and improvement of operational processes.  This manager will need to work closely with other Adobe engineering units, primarily in North America.   Excellent English verbal communications is expected.   

Required Knowledge & Skills:

?    7+ years experience in software QE or development, with at least 3+ yrs in people management roles
?    BS degree required, advanced degree preferred
?    Minimum of 3+ yrs in Enterprise Software development Preferred
?    Experience with multiple OS platforms, multiple Application Servers and multiple Database systems
?    Proven successes in working with geographically diverse teams
?    Proven track record of securing quality for large software product releases.
?    Proven track record of successful application of QE methodology / processes / tools.  Experience with Test automation a plus.
?    Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
?    Strong people management and interpersonal skills

base pay: 245-370k/year

Specific responsibilities include:
    ? Develop, implement and update QE test cases and test tools;
    ? Perform black box and automation testing
    ? Use internal bug tracking and test case management system
    ? Coach, train and mentor contractors.
    ? Collaborate with Engineering, QE teams at US, Canada and India;

Required Knowledge and Skills:
    ? 4+ years experience in software testing, including 2+ years in Enterprise software testing.
    ? Require BS degree in computer software, Information System or related fields.
    ? Advanced knowledge on OS platforms of Linux (SuSe or RedHat) and Windows Advanced Server 2003, UNIX is a plus
    ? Advanced knowledge on at least one application servers, such as JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic, etc.
    ? Knowledge on at least one database, such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL.
    ? Good English verbal and written communication skills,
    ? Experience with a scripting language, preferably JavaScript.
    ? High energy levels, Positive attitude, Independent decision making and problem solving skills.

Desired and Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
    ? Knowledge of XML
    ? Knowledge of enterprise software testing on Solaris, HPUX or AIX.

Position Summary

product. The position is mix of his/her focus 30/40/30 on project
management/design/coding and may extend the career in the future to next level as
engineering manager who works more on feature/business and people management.

? Strong experience on C++ or Java development; and Actionscript/Flex is highly
desired;
? Strong design background on up-to-date web and desktop software product , familiar
with UML, OOA/OOD, design pattern;
? Experience on Embedded or Consumer Electronic Software Development is also a
plus.
? Good organizational and negotiation skills, excellent English verbal and written
communication skills;
? BS degree is required, advanced degree is desirable.
