Required Experience
• Minimum of 2-8 years of experience with Java/J2EE, XML/HTML, application frameworks, AOP/IOC containers (Spring), application servers (Tomcat, Geronimo), Java/other component design/development (2-8 years), Web Services, Apache
• Hands on experience with MySQL including design, coding and basic performance optimization. Other leading relational database experience an advantage
• 3+ years of experience in technologies used in cloud computing space, map/reduce algorithms, virtualized server compute units, scalable architectures
• 2+ years of experience with SOA based integration techniques using web services or XML/HTTPS based interactions.
•Experience dealing with Unix/Linux-based application server deployments/configurations and related performance tuning.
• Specific experience with agile, XP, & RAD methodologies and Business process modeling (UML, etc.).
• Proven experience with complete product life cycle in a production services environment, including design, implementation, load and scale testing, deployment and maintenance

Recommended Interests:

 • writing scalable, globally distributed applications
 • UI and human-computer interaction design
 • Parallel computing/processing, Software as a Service
Education:
This position requires a minimum BS in Computer Science and 2-7 years directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
