SSC-IT-001
IT Developer – Freight Applications (2 FTE) (AU – 2 FTE)

(One Headcount outstanding)

Responsibilities:
-    Understands technical and functional design requirements
-    Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions
-    Occasionally provide inputs in terms of physical and logical database design
-    Creates prototypes for client engagements
-    Design & develop perl based programs based on existing framework
-    Perform impact analysis for change requests
-    To provide 3rd level support on freight applications and other related systems.
-    To complete all documentation in accordance with the company’s software development methodology / procedures.
-    To provide SIT (System Integration Testing) Test Plans and review SIT testing results including provision of recommendation for Change Control in the event of SIT testing failure

Requirements:
-    Knowledge in is  preferred or knowledge in PHP, willing to learn Perl on the job
-    Free BSD
-    Good understanding of file / data interface concepts
-    JavaScript, HTML
-    Strong knowledge in SQL Query languages (Postgres 7.x & Sql Server 2008)
-     Shell Scripting language

Project Management Office (2 FTE) (Shared – 2 FTE)

(One Headcount outstanding)

Responsibilities:
-    Establish a common set of IT project management processes and tools (e.g. appropriate project management software) across all IT projects
-    Establish and maintain the project management methodology (e.g. standards, policies, best practices, templates, etc)
-    Provide training and coaching to build and further develop core IT project management  competencies
-    Manage project implementation
-    Address critical issues contributing to problems or delays on projects
-    Assist project staff in identifying, characterizing, and quantifying risks to project success and  discuss appropriate risk mitigation and management methods
-    Review IT project plans submitted by all business units to obtain agreement on scope, to challenge assumptions and estimates, to ensure personnel allocated appropriately, and to ensure proper scheduling of resources
-    Establish and maintain information repository so that prior projects management deliverables can be candidates for reuse by similar projects, reducing project start-up time
-    Audit various projects to insure proper processes and methodologies are being followed and determine areas where improvement is needed on future projects

Requirements:
-    Minimum IT Degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years IT experience
-    Minimum 2 years experience in project management
-    Minimum 2 years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
-    Knowledge in software development lifecycle and project implementation methodology is essential
-    Experience of working in a multinational / multicultural environment
-    Good analytical and problem solving abilities
-    Result and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
-    Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Development (RHO – 6 FTE)
Responsibilities:
-    Understands technical and functional design requirements

-    Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage
-    Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
-    Experience in Stored procedure
-    Experience in Microsoft SQL and Oracle RDBMS environment
-    Working Knowledge of Tomcat / Apache
-    Experience in  Java/JSP/Servlet/JDBC/Struts
-    Experience in Windows and Unix commands
-    Willingness to work hard and be prepared to work on details

Responsibilities:

Domestic Distribution System – Support (2 FTE + 1 team leader) (RHO - 2 FTE)

(One Headcount outstanding)

Responsibilities:
-    Undertake 1st and 2nd level support in the resolution of non-routine system issues
-    Ensure 24 x 7 application support for all APAC countries
-    Work closely and coordinate with country IT to resolve system and operational issues
-    Work closely and coordinate with Regional DDS team to resolve issues
-    Troubleshoot, identify and resolve application issues
-    Support the Regional DDS team in testing patches, upgrades of the DDS application
-    Identify, develop and implement temporary workaround solutions
-    Maintain, track and provide metrics for all issues and queries reported
-    Ensure that support SLAs are strictly adhered to
-    Ensure that all support SOPs are maintained and up-to-date for every different customer/site implementations
-    Maintain and manage support FAQ for each customer, country and site implementation
-    Be familiar and up-to-date of all customer, country and site SOPs so as to support daily operational queries and issues

Requirements:
-    Minimum IT Degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years IT experience
-    2 years experience in supporting a 24 x 7 on-line web application
-    Must able to communicate (write and speak) using English language
-    Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
-    Strong Oracle PL/SQL query knowledge. Able to write and debug stored procedures, functions and packages
-    Able to work well under pressure and time constraints
-    Able to learn quickly and work independently with supervision
-    Experience with OTM (Oracle Transport Management) in implementation and support will be a strong advantage

Responsibilities:
Administration & Support
-    Responsible for Schenker Asia Pac Data Warehouse & BI System using SAP Business Objects Enterprise Release XI R2
-    Administer, upgrade, support & troubleshoot for the BI System
-    Support regional/ local users in various reporting needs/ inquiries
-    Provide guidance & training for BO users & prepare necessary documentations

Development
-    Develop & implement strategy on Schenker Asia Pac BI System
-    Design & maintain Meta Layer (BO Universes) for various Schenker databases
-    Design & maintain BO report structures/ standards
-    Support MIS / BO inquiries from users from the region
-    Enhance & improve the Schenker Asia Pac BI system
-    Manage securities on BO servers and database accesses
-    Perform testing, implementation & go-live support

Requirements:
-    Minimum IT Degree or equivalent experience
-    Experience in SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI platform (3 years experience)

Database Administrator (2 FTE) (RHO – 2)

(One head count outstanding)

Responsibilities:
-    Oracle DB administration (for both On-Line Transaction Processing & Decision Support Systems) and Microsoft SQL administration for Asia Pacific region which includes:
-    DB design
-    DB performance monitoring, tuning & troubleshooting (using Oracle Enterprise Manager and/or other tools)
-    DB backup & recovery effectively & efficiently considering the different possible scenario
-    Data loading, SQL Coding
-    DB installation, migration, upgrade & troubleshooting
-    DB clustering, etc.

Requirements:
-    Minimum 5 years experience in Oracle database administration in a Terabyte environment
-    Familiar with Linux/ Unix OS environment (i.e. file system, system configuration, network, security, etc.)
-    Proficient in Linux/ Unix commands & scripts coding
-    Able to advise & support application developers, end-users in SQL tuning & troubleshooting
-    Have a good understanding of Oracle security features  
-    Extensive experience in Oracle Data Loader
-    Must able to communicate (write and speak) in English
-    Experience in Oracle RAC (Real Application Custer) Administration & Installation (optional, added advantage)

Corporate Services (2 FTE) (SG – 2 FTE)

Responsibilities:
-    Provide technical and programmatic support to back office users
-    Resolve systems issues in timely manner when reported by back office users
-    Design and develop solutions as assigned by team leads/manager in a timely and quality manner
-    Constantly seek improvements to back office processes and solutions in order to make the system perform better and more reliably
-    Provide training, assistance and guidance to users in use of new systems
-    Monitor the performance of processes and systems activity proactively and recommend action plan to prevent problems or improve performance
-    Feedback issues/complaints to supervisors

Requirements:
-    Minimum IT Degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years IT experience
-    Minimum two years programming & application support.
-    “Analyst/Programmer” skills.  Knowledge of applications & business operations. Technical documentation skills and technical end user training

TMS – Development/Support  (2 FTE) (AU – 2 FTE)

Responsibilities:
-    Programming – support and participate in development of transport system interfaces.
-    To provide supporting Migration Plans for Change Control and new Project Solution Implementation and provide assistance/guidance during migration process.
-    To provide SIT Test Plans and review SIT testing results including provision of recommendation for Change Control in the event of SIT testing failure.
-    To work in team environment on all projects with IT Logistics and IT Forwarding Services Teams
-    To train and supply technical support to other members of IT and other trainers
-    Strict adherence to Standards & Procedures, Version Control and safe storage of all source code.
-    Support – Provide 3rd Level 24/7 on call support for transport system interfaces
-    Documentation - Development of Functional Module, System Solution Design, Change Control, SIT test Plan and Migration Plan documentation as required. Provision of supporting system flows and documents for transport activity

Requirements:
-    Sql Server Integration Services
-    Familiarity with transportation operations/business processes
-    Documentation for production of Systems and Training Material
-    Understanding of TSQL and SQL Query Languages
-    Very good understanding of XML
-    Thoroughly understand the internal structure and organization of all transport related systems
