ubuntu7.10安装vmtools出现问题!

我在虚拟机中安装了ubuntu7.10（desktop CD），在安装vmtools时，执行vmware-install
.pl后，一路回车出现：
In which directory do you want to install the binary files?
[/usr/bin]
What is the directory that contains the init directories (rc0.d/ to rc6.d/)?

[/etc/rc.d]
What is the directory that contains the init scripts?
[/etc/rc.d/init.d]
接着问题出现 如下
Unable to copy the source file ./installer/services.sh to the destination file
 /etc/rc.d/init.d/vmware.
Execution aborted.
