Job Description
* Manage overall project and provide oversight
* Maintain project schedule
* Manage issues, risks, and mitigation plans
* Collaborate with the team to ensure successful execution
* Define and manage scope document collaboratively with team
* Adhere to all CtP and PMO delivery office standards, guidelines, tools, processes and procedures
* Create and manage project budget
* Manage day-to-day project tasks, taking corrective action as needed
* Define and coordinate staffing requirements
* Define and approve WBS and task estimates with team
* Conduct project status meetings and post project reviews
* Report weekly project status using ADAPT
* Participate in conformance reviews as required
* Provide input on the quality plan, configuration management plan, communication plan and project standards and procedures
* Participate in the identification and approval of change requests and defect assignments
* Manage change requests and release planning activities
* Create and manage go-to-green plans
* Determine synergy, overlap and dependencies between projects
Qualifications
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, but highly prefer a Masters or graduate degree.
* Must have at least 8 years experiences for software development/engineering.
* Must have over 2 years experience of managing large (>=50 man*months) and/or multiple full software engineering life cycle development projects.
* Must have an extensive knowledge and understanding of software configuration management tools, e.g. MS Team Foundation (TFS), Clear Case etc.
* Must have over 2 year hands on experience to manage development team and performance.
* PMI PMP certification is highly requested
* Extensive Knowledge on ITIL, ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
*Strong J2EE or .Net experience with at least 3 years of implementation and development experience.
*Solid knowledge on SOA, Web Services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, BEPL.)
*Experience on RDBMS, e.g. Oracle, SQL server.
* Strong and proven database modeling experience is a plus.
*Deeply technology insight is a strong plus.
* Best to have software engineering experiences based on CMMI5 requirements
* Capable of handling global customers based on different time zones and cultures
* Nice to have:
- PMO experience as Project Manager role
- Experience working with senior project manager or program manager in PMO on solution/product/service portfolio
- Program management experience
- Microsoft Project /PPM
- ADAPT/ Presage/ Evolve/ SAP Time Tracking
