Sustaining Engineer

Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for maintaining software applications for a product or family of products.
* Provide moderately complex modification, testing and debugging tasks.
* Provide analysis related to software design and development and solves problems within designated product.
* Evaluate impact of software performance, and recommends changes to software designers.
* Work with minimal supervision and utilizes knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
* Consult with the developer(s) to determine the best course of action to correct the product bug and updates existing source code to resolve bugs in existing GA code.


Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline. Master's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science a plus.


Work Experience
Typically 3 or more years of experience in software development, software support or a related field.

* Experience in C++ programming on windows; knowledge in Java will be a plus;
* Knowledge in Exchange/Oracle/SQL Server will be a plus;
* Experience in participating large projects, take role in core modules’ development;
* Solid debugging/coding skills;
* Complex problem solving skills;
* Solid organizational and analytical skills;
* Good verbal and written communication skills;

* Proficient in C++ programming on Windows platform
